Welcome to Belmont 2nd Soccer

We offer Fall and Spring co-ed soccer for K, 1st and 2nd graders who live or attend school in Belmont. Each season about 600 people -- players, volunteer administrators, volunteer coaches and assistant coaches, and middle school referees - are involved in BSS. We're often a child's introduction to organized sports. Our mission is - through soccer, we hope to build kids' self-esteem, introduce them to the joy of playing on a sports team and to what it means to have good sportsmanship. Along the way, we hope to teach basic soccer skills.

REGISTER NOW

You’re in luck -- the late registration deadline has been extended for all grades until AUGUST 6th. Take 10 minutes now to register for fall soccer. Help us spread the word that the new deadline is August 6th. After that date registration is closed! Families will receive team assignment and practice information from their coach during the first week of school. The first game is September 11th.

Please note that you should register your child in the program that matches the grade they will be entering in Fall. We do NOT have a program for preschoolers.

Saturday morning pick-up games

Again this year, in conjunction with Belmont Soccer Association (BSA) there will be Saturday morning pick-up games. This year they will be held at TOWN FIELD on Beech Street (by the new Senior Center), from 8:30 am to 10:30 am (or so). Games will start on Saturday, June 26 and will run through Saturday September 4. Children from K-8 who have interest in playing are welcome. Fields and nets will be set up.

Kids should: Bring water, wear shin pads and wear a white t-shirt (makes it easier to make teams and is cooler in the heat).

Parents are not required to stay, but those who want to "hang out" are more than welcome.
